Objective of the International Meeting

The primary goal of the event is to focus on the Research & development of frankincense and medicinal plants by transferring knowledge to industry. This will help in linking scientific and innovative activities in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Medical sciences and the health industry with an aim to provide a platform for international exchange and cooperation with focus on traditional herbal medicine and biomedicine. Moreover, the meeting will help to strengthen the status of frankincense and some other traditional medicinal plants as an important part of the world’s cultural heritage.
